Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain), whose roots go back to Leuven in 1425, is one of the oldest universities in Europe and currently the largest French-speaking university in Belgium.
This historic humanist university has 33,500 students of 127 nationalities at seven locations in Brussels and Wallonia. Its main campus is in the city of Louvain-la-Neuve. The university offers courses in all disciplines, from bachelor’s degree to doctoral degree level, as well as many lifelong learning programmes.
UCLouvain and BMI now count more than 20 years of winning partnership. Back in 1999, UCLouvain – which is recognized for pioneering work in corporate social responsibility – was one of the five founding academic partners of BMI. Over the years, many top UCLouvain professors have taken part in BMI’s work to educate responsible business leaders, and one was BMI’s first Academic Dean.
