Let the Learning Journey for the EMBA Class of 2026 in Brussels Begin!

Spring marks a new beginning for a diverse group of executives as they embark on the EMBA programme, co-organized by BMI Executive Institute and Louvain School of Management (Université catholique de Louvain).

Key figures about this year’s cohort:
📌 9 industries represented
🌍 6 nationalities
🏆 40% board members

The journey kicked off with an engaging introduction session, where participants met their peers and gained insights into the programme’s structure. Beyond introductions, they took part in a thought-provoking workshop led by Prof. Michael Segalla, Professor Emeritus of Management at HEC Paris. His session set an inspiring tone for the program – thank you, Professor, for launching the EMBA experience with such depth and energy!

Following this, the EMBA Class of 2026 dove straight into their first course: “Leadership: Starting with Yourself,” led by Aad JCM van Vliet. This foundational session encouraged participants to first understand themselves better – an essential step toward effectively leading others in their businesses, companies, or organizations. 💡

Participants were warmly welcomed by representatives of both BMI Executive Institute and Louvain School of Management. Jurga Bendikaite-Ursavas, Director General at BMI Executive Institute, emphasized the programme’s mission of shaping leaders who drive positive change in organizations and communities. A big thank you as well to Matthieu de Nanteuil, Dean of the Louvain School of Management, and James Thewissen, Professor of Finance at the Université catholique de Louvain and Vice-Dean of Communication and Corporate Relations, for joining the session to share their inspiring words.

Welcome aboard once again! Wishing you an inspiring and impactful journey in the months to come! 🎓
