Mastering the Art & Science of Leadership Presence – an exclusive workshop with Amy Carroll

BMI Vilnius and BMI Brussels in collaboration with NeHRa – the professional HR network, is hosting a special online event “Mastering the Art & Science of Leadership Presence” with highly evaluated BMI’s EMBA Lecturer, Communication Coach, Professional Speaker Amy Carroll. The online keynote workshops will take place on Tuesday, September 29, 18:00 CET and Thursday, October 1, 18:00 EEST via Zoom platform.

Hundreds of studies have been done to identify the elusive formula for extraordinary leadership. Study after study cites that one key attribute is a person’s ability to effectively relate to others through how they communicate. This takes a high level of personal awareness, self-management and relationship management.

This session invites participants to discover how and what they can do immediately to improve others’ perception of them (virtually and in person) as a credible, competent leader, able to quickly gain trust, influence others (even without direct supervision) and drive decisions.

Leadership presence

Leaders live in a fishbowl.Everyone is watching them and everything they do is being interpreted, analyzed and scrutinized. As a result, a bad mood or a poor interaction with someone can have lasting negative effects.

Often people are promoted because of their experience and knowledge, and yet they lack something as a leader, this vital, yet difficult to identify thing called presence.

Those who don’t possess this presence are frequently perceived as being “really nice”, though people wonder if they really have what it takes to do the job. Others may be perceived as arrogant, aggressive or domineering, unintentionally damaging relationships.

This program offers both types of leader, the presence they may be missing, in order to become truly effective, inspiring and engaging leaders.
