Ignace’s professional journey began with a degree in Applied Informatics and Business & IT-Solutions from UCLL. He then transitioned into cybersecurity consulting, gaining valuable insights at Ordina and later at PwC, where he became a cybersecurity manager, advising major corporations on cybersecurity strategies. His dedication and expertise in the field earned him recognition and respect among his peers and clients alike.
In addition to his career in cybersecurity, Ignace embarked on IronMan races, defying his previous physical limitations. His journey from struggling to walk to conquering grueling IronMan challenges serves as a powerful reminder that dedication can lead to greatness. Through rigorous training and unwavering determination, Ignace not only achieved his personal fitness goals but also inspired others to push beyond their own limitations.
Driven by a desire to deepen his understanding of business operations and leadership, Ignace pursued an EMBA programme coorganized by BMI Executive Institute and UCLouvain School of Management in Brussels. This decision opened doors to comprehensive business education and a vast alumni network, enriching his journey as a lifelong learner. The program provided Ignace with the necessary tools and knowledge to navigate the complexities of entrepreneurship and leadership, shaping his approach to decision-making and strategic planning.
Recently, Ignace and his wife Jenthe launched Work-Out, a sports company aimed at instilling a passion for sports and exercises in corporate environments. By bringing energetic workouts directly to workplaces, they empower employees to prioritize their health and well-being. Their innovative approach to corporate wellness has garnered attention and praise, positioning Work-Out as a leader in the industry.

Can you share some pivotal moments in your career path that shaped your journey to where you are today?
After graduating, I started in cybersecurity consulting, spending the first 6.5 years of my career at Ordina and PwC. To stay active during Covid-19, I started training for IronMan races, which led to the creation of Work-Out.
What inspired you to launch Work-Out, and how do you envision it making a difference in corporate environments?
Work-Out focuses on individuals seeking to be more active. We aim to make a difference by bringing workouts directly to workplaces, promoting a healthier lifestyle.
Could you elaborate on the lessons you’ve learned from your dedication to fitness and participation in IronMan races?
Good time management, planning, and balance are crucial. Starting a company requires the same dedication and attention to detail.
What kept you motivated during difficult times?
My partner Jenthe, clear goals, and the belief that perseverance leads to success.
What advice would you offer to individuals facing challenges?
Keep working on your dreams, ignore negativity especially from those around you, and stay flexible in the short-term yet focused on long-term goals.
